I have never had any of these problems, and I would highly suggest insisting on a replacement. If you have one that is error free, it is incredible. It is the only thing holding me over until the Cloud.

I agree with you ssvrichard. The herb is far from the element with the water pipe adapter, but I have never felt it is a huge problem. You just need to make sure to milk your piece, it just takes SLIGHTLY more skill then just ripping your piece.
