After having only tried a friend's Iolite and another's MFLB, when I bought the Pax on a whim I was 100% amazed. That... is... beautiful.

The mouthpiece part is one of the problems I have when it starts to overheat. Ploom's website says that they don't warranty illegal uses. I think my herbal blend of choice has voided the warranty... is this true?

Has anyone had the problem that if you use it too often that on the higher settings it is #1. Untouchable on the bottom due to heat and/or #2. When sucking, it mostly tastes like plastic? It just seems that mine is overheating. Is this a common problem?

Thanks for the detailed reply. I was thinking of getting the mouth lube, since my unit that I bought didn't come with any for whatever reason. What exactly do I do with it; aka, where is it applied? To your sidenote, no charging issues here... yet.

I've now started doing Low until it tastes a bit off, turn off/loosen up the product, then turn it up to Medium. Rinse and repeat for High. I am effect over both flavor and visible vapor produced preference wise.
