i would not leave my solo on top of that bong like that you risk braking the stem more and yes looking at it now cutting down a stem would work very well for you till you can get a GonG

you dont need no blue tack a solo stem will fit strait in to a 14mm joint and seal with the chipped stem you could do what i did when i broke a stem i cut it down so that when i put it in my ground glass joint it would fit but then hit the stem where it gets thicker to make a air seal just heat...
