So my friend dropped my LSV and the top of the heater cover broke, the part where you screw the wand in. It's missing two little chunks on each side but it still functions an slides in. I'm probably going to order a new one but is it necessary? How long does it take for another one to get here...

What do you mean? The shim is bent in a little bit like others said with theirs. The HC wouldn't go on straight all the way unless it was in a certain position.

So ever since I removed my heating cover when I put my wand in it doesn't lock in when I twist it, it just connects to my my heating cover and twists it.. Also when I pull it out it pulls my heating cover too. Anyone know a fix?

So I went ahead and took it apart before I read your response Vitolo. My shim is bent in on one side, is any of yours? Couldn't get all of the debris because of it being bent, as I was sliding the heater cover back on the shim slid up a little bit, weird.

I have some herb on the inside of my heating cover around the little metal piece that wraps around the heating element. Is it a big deal or can I just leave it alone? It might've been the hash I just packed in there, I just used the powder form, it bubbled a bit and turned into a bud like sticky...

Okay I know I ask a lot of ?'s but still here are some more.. So the hash I have is brown and sort of hard it breaks into fine powder though. Would it be possible to put the hard bowl in my vape? I vaped some of it last night mixed with some bud in the powder form but the bud vaped faster then...

Most of the people who use this when they come over usually don't get big rips or blacken the bowl. I can't explain good enough to them how to hit it seems.

Did you guys find your consumption go down less when using this? I feel like mines gone up but I'm not sure how... I tend to use more on the weekends though. I get higher but it seems like I still use the same if not more herb then when I smoked.

Just gotta try it out and learn, I usually only keep mine at 12 but I'm a beginner with this thing. I sometimes go to 1 or 1:30 but thats rare. I usually leave it on full blast for 3-5 mins and then I put it on 12 for around 3 mins.

I've hit it like a cigar and got huge rips and I've hit it really fast and got decent rips too. I can't seem to find the best yet, still trying to experiment.

I'm overly cautious with this thing so should I just screw out the heating cover or pull? Sorry for all the n00b questions.
