    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

Max - All good points. I had things like expanding the production facility, hiring more workers, paying for marketing etc. in mind. I also knew that Tom would never be interested in doing something like that... not everyone is motivated by money. I'm new here, but I've read enough of this...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

Three things in Tom's (and Pammy's) defense, if only to play devil's advocate for a bit: 1. Any time a company closes its doors, some people are going to get shafted on their warranties. This is just the nature of closing down a company. This follows the old logic that a "lifetime warranty"...

Anyone have experience with Ed's TNT tubes? He has a ton of different exotic woods available. I wonder how they mate w/ the PD in terms of fit?

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

Thanks Rick! I just edited my post with one more question, didn't see that you replied until after I edited. Will the brass tip be a really loose fit in the PD? The stems that came with my PD are already a pretty loose fit, much looser than I expected upon ordering the PD.

Thanks jeffp and oldfart for the info. Ed's TNT stems look really nice, but I'm particularly interested in the Glass Tooty from Aromazap: http://aromazap.com/clear-tooty One question, though: you can choose between a stainless steel or brass tip. The SS tip is for post 9/12/11 aromazaps, while...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

The unit itself seems indestructible, but what about the tubes? One of my three was already chewed up by my sister-in-law's dog, leaving me with two functional tubes. If I manage to break/lose the tubes, I'm left with a non-functional unit instead of a way to replace the tubes. I can deal...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

Problem solved! SONICARE TOOTHBRUSH. I grabbed a stem that had been sitting in 91% iso overnight, rinsed it off with hot water, inserted the bristles of a Sonicare toothbrush so that they pushed through the screen, and turned it on (while the stem was still wet). The bristles of the...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

A couple of weeks ago, I posted that I was having difficulty getting my screens clean with 70% iso. After switching to 91% iso, I'm still having the same problems despite soaking for several consecutive nights and then poking at the screen with a thin pin, while it's still wet, to dislodge any...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

I tried going at the screen with a very thin needle, and I think that's going to do the trick. When I tested it however, the tubes were dry. I have a feeling that I'll get the results that I'm looking for by soaking the tubes overnight, rinsing them off, blowing them out, needling out any...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

Hi! After lurking in this thread for a few weeks, I decided to take the plunge and purchase a Purple Days. Prior to that I had only combusted, but decided to try vaporizing as the experience sounded interesting and I wanted to avoid the negative health effects associated with smoking. After...
