    Underdog Log Vapes

With all due respect, are you trolling? Everything hazy said was correct, or at the very least, in line with what everyone (including Dave) has said regarding their UDs at this point. Where's the uncertainty, exactly? The biggest UD manufactured so far was the Tortuga. It was sold to stroh, who...

    Underdog Log Vapes

    Oh, c'mon hazy. Wouldn't you prefer a two-handed cellphone? A two-handed tv remote? A two-handed french fry?

    The HI

very nice HI you've got there ILB. Was that the maple burl unit from the pic Alan posted on the bottom of page 12? I'd also like to hear your thoughts on how the tubes compare. How do you like all glass vs. glass/silicone for direct draw? I'm jumping on the HI train in the extremely-near...

    The HI

Yes, that is badass. Alan, you say the 3.5" version is ideal for direct draw because of the taper. Don't the 3.0" and 2.5" have the same taper on the mouth end? Also, just so I understand correctly - with the SS insert removed, the glass slides over the heat port? So it's like having two stem...

Things that go well with vaporizing

apple sauce and graham crackers Journey to the Edge of the Universe, a Nat-Geo program hosted by Alec Baldwin that seems specifically designed for stoners (watch it, you'll see what I mean) How the Universe Works (a newer space program with really impressive visuals) anything by David Lynch...

    PD Replacement for med user?

Pete, You noted your dislikes regarding the Volcano, but I don't think you mentioned what you don't like about the PD. I'm also currently in the process of (possibly) replacing my PD, so I'm exploring other log vapes as well. If you explain what you don't like about the PD, it will be easier...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

Correct, PD stems do not fit in UDs or HIs or TTs. Not sure about CRZs. I do know that UD stems and certain HI stems fit the PD. Alan of TT/HI has a wide variety of stem designs available, so if you're looking for alternative stems for PD, he might be one person to talk to.

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

In that case, it might be worthwhile to make some kind of arrangement with your friend. All of the new UDs come with a 3/8" core, so any 3/8" stem will be compatible with both the PD and the UD your friend is ordering. I haven't heard a single negative thing about using a UD glass stem with an...

    The HI

One more question regarding the efficiency of the HI: I know that the question of "how many hits" is subjective, but with the PD, the standard wisdom was that you'd get 2-3 decent hits from a bowl, with the third being much weaker than the first 2. I've found this to be true of my PD, unless I...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

"If I purchase a glass stem from UD...which size for PD? 3/8 or 1/2?" The available stem sizes from UD include 3/8 and 1/4. For the PD, you'll need 3/8. I purchased a UD glass stem to go with my PD, and while it does deliver significantly better airflow than a standard PD stem, and definitely...

    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

I've found that soaking in 91% iso does a decent job of loosening up material that's clogged in the screen, but for me, it doesn't dissolve it off completely. So, after soaking, I leave the screens in the tube as normal and clean them with a Sonicare toothbrush. Any electric toothbrush with...

    The HI

Thanks biojuggernaut. I believe you own/owned a UD too... how does the HI compare in terms of efficiency? (i already know the UD has great airflow, massive hits etc.)

    The HI

After reading through the thread, I'm seriously interested in the HI, but I've got some questions for any HI owners who have also used a PD. 1. How does the HI compare to the PD in terms of efficiency? I'm assuming the variable voltage/innovative core design allows the HI to darken the ABV more...

Mysterious unexplained noises heard around the globe

Could be the Bloop - a very strange and incredibly loud underwater sound with some real scientific documentation. It could be heard for thousands of miles and the current consensus (by scientists, not by the Ancient Aliens dudes) is that it could not be manmade, and that it came from some kind...

    E-Cigarette (not for THC use)

More info would be great msb, though I should mention that I have very little knowledge of e-cigs and that I'm not sure whether a "mod" is what I'm looking for. Right now, I have a couple of X4 e-cigs. They're cheap, but the nicotine delivery isn't that great, the flavor is so-so and I just have...

    E-Cigarette (not for THC use)

Vitolo, is there a particular online retailer you'd recommend for purchasing the Joye Ego starter pack? Seems to be a lot of different stores selling them for various prices $50-$65. Where do you order your e-cig stuff?

    Underdog Log Vapes

kush, It all depends on what you want in a vaporizer. As mentioned, if you only intend to use your vape with 1 or 2 people, you probably won't need anything besides the Underdog. Given the adjustable bowl size of the UD, it would probably even work with 3-4 people if you're willing to repack...

OTA - we're both wrong, haha. Just checked the email I received from Dave, and the new Twigs UD has coming out are ~$175. With that said, I fully agree with mom that a separate log vape comparisons thread is in order, and this is the last time that I'll be mentioning anything specific to the...
