PlanetVape.ca - Canada's Destination for the Best Vapes on the Planet

I have seen people mention using FC promo codes at this retailer, but I don't see any mention of what they are, am I misinformed or just looking in the wrong place? Thanks!

    Herb Grinders

Another vote for the SCS 3-piece. I just gave mine a bath and it is basically like new again, it practically glides when I nudge it around. They are definitely available for around $45 on eBay

    Arizer Solo

Hah, that would be nice, but for the moment it is one or the other

    The Arizer Air

Yes, thanks! Your helpful advice in that thread, along with some others, convinced me to join club Air despite the temperature settings. So you will be seeing more of me around this thread in the near future!

    Arizer Solo

Thanks to all of you for your input! In the end, since nobody seems to be saying "4 is the only useful setting, you will be sorry if you chose the Air" I think I am just going to risk coarser temperature resolution on favor of portability. Plus it seems the Air has been following the Solo...

    The Arizer Air

Hi Airists, After having used and greatly enjoyed my friend's Solo, I decided I wanted an Air based on the assumption that it will taste just as good and work just as well while also being a little smaller and more portable (I understand the battery is also smaller, but I would get an extra or...

    Arizer Solo

Hi Soloists, I'm about to pull the trigger on an Arizer Air, but I figured that before I did, I should come over to the Solo thread just to make sure I'm not making a mistake by choosing the Air over the Solo. I understand that I am sacrificing battery life, but I will get a spare battery. My...

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

Yes, thanks for that! I haven't actually placed the order yet (out of town this past week), but I know what to do. As always, the support from you guys is second to none!

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

Thank you, that was very helpful! I had tried it previously, but I didn't have any small sized screens, so when I inserted the hemp fiber, I packed it in just enough that it would stay put. But I think that it was packed too tightly, because it restricted the draw too much. Sounds like I will...

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

Just in case anyone wants some without needing to commit to an entire kg, I found this place https://www.hemptopia.com/product/degummed-hemp-fiber that is the same price for 1 kg ($26.25), but they also sell 0.25 kg for $7.50. And 0.25 kg is still a lot, it is about the same volume as a couple...

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

It's a little bit confusing at the moment, because the VCB (bowl) is one revision ahead of the VHW (wand). I definitely recommend you get the latest version of each, which is VHW 3.0 and VCB 4.2. Meanwhile, my understanding is that Vriptech are developing the next version of the wand with a...

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

That is definitely consistent with my experience. I've been running glass-on-glass pretty exclusively, but every once in a while when I do use the silicone gasket (e.g., to help make things easier for a less experienced vripper), I definitely have to turn down the heat.

Gotcha, in that case, I don't think that tip-up has any advantage or disadvantage over sideways, as long as the electronics are not sitting directly above the heating element for extended periods of on-time.

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

I'm not even sure how you would have it sitting with the tip pointing up? Seeing as how the power cord comes straight out of the opposite end, the only options that I can physically achieve are tip down (good for heating up) and flat with tip sideways (good for keeping on extended periods). As...

    The Future of Vaporizing

This is definitely true in my experience. I've had herbs that have vaporized really nicely (efficient and even extraction), but then weeks later, I would get the same strain from a different harvest only to find that the flavor was pretty much the same but it just didn't vaporize as well (at...

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

Have you tried using it without any external seal? My black viton seal popped the very first time I heated it on the wand, and I've tried the silicone seal once or twice, but I find that I prefer just the pure glass experience. It takes a bit of "feel" to find the sweet spot where you get the...

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

I believe there are two kinds of people in the world: those who think the VHW is simply the most sublime vaporization experience, and those who haven't tried it ;)

You can definitely wind up with dark spots if you are drawing too slow for how high the heat is dialed up. Generally, it is easy to avoid the dark spots, but it does require you to pay attention to how you are hitting the thing. Stirring is more or less required, as the only alternatives are...

That sounds about right. They are a small operation, but in my experience, their customer service is second to none!

    Hard Water Stains.....

The filters you mentioned definitely will not filter out the minerals that make limescale (hard water stains). You would need a reverse osmosis filter or some type of water softener (which is not a filter) to get rid of those. That said, those particular minerals are probably healthy for you to...
