you know if I could have done it all over I would have just got the Persei. it can do everything you need and run pretty much all of there attachments. The pens you listed will give you decent hits for oil/shatter and they are pretty discrete. As far as carts I'd get a few of the 3.7 kiss

stock batteries will power the persei but they don't last long with herc. my advice is just try the unit. You obviously bought it without knowing anything about it.

yeah for the herc that's my only issue, I'd have to adjust the sticky rod and than I'd forget and end up with a sticky button lol!

when I used pliers it did stay in place but I wasnt sure if it's designed to be that tight and it was frustrating to not be able to take it apart by hand.
