Ape, I think you are right. You is getting the goo where it needs to be...in you! In my 2 hole bents the oil tends to accumulate mostly right around the bend becoming much cleaner out by the end of the tube. While I'd rather the goo go where it's going to do the most good, I'm very happy making...
