I find that herb falls down to the heating element no matter where the adjustable screen is placed or how much herb you load...because of gravity. Taste is much worse when it gets charred. I'll stick to using it with water and my piece when possible.

For anyone who uses the long stock stem, do you guys turn the Nano horizontally (or maybe even upside-down) when hitting to avoid herb touching the heating rod? Not sure if that's something to worry about or not. This isn't a concern when hitting with the GonG since the unit is upside down and...

I'm a little worried about this method. Saw a thread on reddit the other day about a guy who soaked the CU pieces in ISO and it created a nasty taste that stuck with the pieces and he can't seem to get it out. Something to do with the plastic retaining alcohol I think. Any tips on avoiding this?

What do you guys use to scrape reclaim out of the CU without scratching the plastic?
