I Vape outside in NYC , but only with the Pax. The flavor isn't great, but it's stealth enough if you're not flaunting it. I keep it in a plastic baggie to minimize the smell ;)

I've had a Pax since they first came out, they work, they are simple, but require almost daily cleaning to function properly. Since he's going to be using tobacco, taste will not be an issue. Ploom's customer service is excellent. They really do stand by their product if you buy a Pax from them...

If she's never done any cannabis before , i second a tincture, so you can titrate her dose. Nothings worse than edible overload, could ruin it for her . Whatever you do, start really slow , if she likes it, increase her dose slowly. Good Luck :tup:

Out of all the vapes i own, i use the least amount of weed to get high with the Lotus, second best herb conservation is with my Solo. I have a Pax and it's a weed sinkhole, but it's great for vaping on the streets of the city :tup:

In terms of durability, yes i think they are worth the $. Mine has been going strong since 2002. I really don't use it anymore because i think there are much better vapes now as far as taste and herb savings go. Others have mentioned different bag vapes for you , i don't have any experience...
