I gotta say ghost mv1 was my frontrunner to buy but I saw the video too and my main beef with it is the humming noise it makes when the heater is activated. Even though the vape critic downplayed it, I personally think that's gonna be a big issue for a lot of people. It's like a bullhorn...

Thanks, that's good to know...I'm looking at the Xtar ANT MC1 PLUS....it's a single charger but that's all I need. Xtar is a lot cheaper than nitecore but I love the small form factor of the xtar. You think nitecore is that much better than xtar?

Would anyone recommend getting an external charger to charge the battery rather than use the pen itself as the charger? Aside from the convenience, I'm thinking about getting an external charger to preserve the pen. Anyone think using the pen as the charger makes the gh deteriorate faster?

Anyone have a grasshopper that makes a soft ticking sound while turned on? GHL says its the heating element turning on and off to regulate the temperature and the sound is normal. Has anyone had problems because of this ticking?

Ok, let me rephrase my question... For those who have bought a recent grasshopper say, since last fall 2016 and use it regularly but not heavily say, on average once a day and you took care of it (gentle handling, regular maintenance and no pushing the machine to its limit), has anyone NOT...
