If you're concerned it's best to use an adapter. Breaking or dirtying a $20 adapter is much easier on the heart (and wallet) than breaking or dirtying the joint on any piece of glass.

@farscaper How's the taste with that castle? I've had cheap quartz domeless nails and I would always get a "plasticy" taste. Does it taste as clean as a glass nail or a low temp Ti dab? How hard is it to find the right temp? I've had difficulty finding a sweet spot with quartz.
