Filter paper is a lot easier to work with. Once its wet it kind of self seals. SS mesh is a pain in the booty. I only ever use that to pour through but not on a vac setup.

The Kanger wicks don't work as well on thick liquids. You need to make it thinner with them or they will clog and burn. When you run out of EJmix try out Puff Majic. Way better viscosity mixed at the same levels from what I have seen.
