I would like to raise a bowl to the auto shut-down feature on the VM Station. Would've had a visit from the fire department for sure if not for that! :science: I have mine set at 2,5 and it's perfect! And it taught me patience with the torch. And it's silent for those nights when everyone else...

I only have the Vapman torch and have been thinking about a backup as well. The way I've understood it tho is that the expensive ones die out too. So instead of buying 1 expensive torch maybe go for 3-4 cheap ones? Search the thread, @OF has a good recommendation.

I use one of those plastic film cases, you know how before cameras were analog and used film, and they are the perfect size. The MFLB finishing grinder sits on top of one like its meant to be. And it can hold quite a lot of grounded material...

I haven't seen much discussion on draw speed. Coming from an MFLB I think I started way too soft.

Got it yesterday. This thing is amazing. Combusted twice (bowl 2 and 3) but after that its been smooth af. I am amazed how evenly it roasts, AVB on the mflb is never so consistent. Still waiting for the station but now I'm like do I even need one? :huh: Classic Pear Tree

@DrNick420 I just ordered one straight from vapman.com and Rene told me they all come with the ss washer installed. Been skimming trough the thread while waiting for mine and am getting more and more excited! Can't wait!!

Wooh! Pulled the trigger finally. Had a hard time choosing, my eyes were set on the Yew tree but went with the classic pear tree one instead. Might as well save the difference for the station when it becomes available again! :p Now the wait begins...

The answer is, because cats are assholes! :lol: I've been lurking here way too long but finally, by the end of this month I am pulling the trigger and getting one. With the station if they are still available. Can't wait!

Next time I feel the need to use international sign language, I will definetly add an extra finger to it. And if verbal confirmation is needed I'll tell them to go pluck some yew! :lol:

Ohh damn. I'm in agony. My financial situation is a bit sketchy at the moment but I really want to have one. The station can wait, but how will I do with a basic model? I mean I could easily sand it etc my self but will I regret not having the mica cover? Cheers

Thanks a lot guys on the insights comparing the VM and MFLB. If I wasn't sold on one I sure as hell am now. I used to roll joints, and used to love the rolling part. Mine would be long and thin (and BEAUTIFUL) and burn slowly. With the LB its still a bit ritualistic with the finishing grinder...
