Definitely clean the bowl part of the unit. Mine just came in and I took a cotton swab with ISO and wiped the inside and the tip came out blackened by residue

It doesn't look like we will be seeing the Castle come to market after the Lotus revival. Shame, but at least we get a re-release of the Lotus.
