well silversurfer, i'm hardly an expert with my SR 71 (white rod)/persei... as I've only had mine up and running for a couple weeks now, but I can assure you that there are no "ghost" hits with the SR-71, that is unless you don't have the thing loaded up with concentrate. for me I get more taste...

yeah I was trippin, because the ceramic rod is heating up just fine... update: well I got some more wax, cut my coil down to about flush maybe slightly below the rod... loaded between .2 and .3 melted into the coil, then loaded up another .2 to .3... HUGE difference then last night...

well my batteries are charged, opened the herc up to take out flowers so I can load up the remaining .2 or .3 to get past the buffer. but when I opened her up, there was most of the buffer on top of the flower as well as the flower being pretty soaked in wax or oil now...took the coil out and it...

let me make this question a little clearer, what I meant was... once I have my buffer for my coil, is it ok to just put wax on top of the coil while its still in the herc? should I load that extra .2-.3 outside the herc? and once its in am I good to throw the top cap and mouthpiece and start...

ok G, i'll load up some more. I was a little worried to over load it and have a leak. i'm charging up my batteries right now. when I go to load up some more, I should be good to just put the wax right on the coil? any word on the heat up time for my ceramic rod? do you think its heating up...

FYI on the different colored ce4's, as far as the W9tech site you can click on it then click options... from there you get some different color options. a lot of the products on the site have an options button you can click on once your "reviewing or viewing" said product.

slideordie, in that first pic are you trying to show the reading of just your wires? if so its not very accurate, because of the way you are touching the leads... when doing so, you shouldn't touch the metal parts of the leads with your fingers because this adds resistance.
