if that's a 40% cut coil, then your coil is not sitting all the way down in the herc, my 40% coil, sits a little below the ceramic rod... if the coil is not all the way down it wont hit right... just shooting ideas out there, trying to help, good luck also, I put the uncut side of the coil...

looks like a brand new, un cut coil from the pics... also looks like there might not have been a buffer prior to these pics? if so I would try cutting the coil down...

just wanted to point out that when I cut my coil, I did so by spreading the coil apart a little, then I cut my coil with some diagonal cutters or dikes... deformed the coil a lil, but was able to smash back into shape with fingers, and just reamed the rod hole with a pen to get the lil wires...

I was going to mention that you could be over loading it as well.

not sure what your running though the herc, or what size coil your running in it, but you might want to try running a slightly longer coil with whatever concentrate that is causing your leak... also have you been doing cool down hits? these help to cool down the concentrate so its not so runny...
