    Dynavap VapCap

Apollo II (Dynatec) Review : It's been a couple of weeks now, just a few thoughts. This is my first induction heater (so far). Mostly before getting the Apollo I used a larger model torch but one with a nice tight pointed flame tip, Rarely combusted and was pretty happy as it was BUT vas...

Not sure they can be with normal use even with heavy concentrate use. Maybe whacking the assembled DV tip with a 10 pound sledge hammer might do the trick.

Same here but not until after 50 years of fighting for it. The government isn't very good at selling it (short supply, many private stores still not open/licensed after more than a year of legalization, no real concentrates, overpriced) but at least it's legal. Before legalization the private...

    Discontinued Ghost MV1

Am I missing the elephant in the room here ? A vaporizer with only one battery and no spare (ever ?) available. The VAS is strong for one of these and I probably would have bought one by now but just can't justify not being able to replace or have a spare power source. It's been quite a while...

I guess I never heard that info so I've never had a problem removing them usually just with my thumbnail. They also go back on with no problems for me. I think that they are somewhat ISO resistant but I wouldn't press my luck by soaking them for more than a few minutes/hours......... Maybe, lol.

Yeah, I usually do remove the O-rings for any ISO soaking that's going to be longer than just a swoosh and a shake.

    Dynavap VapCap

Good tips ! With my first IH arriving on Tuesday tentatively I've been meaning to clean out my dynacoil and any other other even slightly constricted vapcaps I own before the experimentation begins. My dynacoil has seen some hard use so I'll probably do a few hours of 99% ISO soaking, hot...

Note my above cleaning instructions were for a wooden stem not metal. Not sure if it would be a good idea to soak a wooden piece in ISO. I wouldn't.

The condenser is optional. I don't usually bother with one for WPA use. I clean it inside with a small wire brush (think mini bottle brush) and sometimes a small amount of dish-soap, plenty of warm water rinsing, dry thoroughly, give it a bit of wax or oil at least on the hot end and done.

My partner also loves them as they put a nice soft mouthpiece on the end of an Ariser Solo glass tube. Perfect fit. I find them finicky for WPA use as they're kind of "sticky". Use a wooden NonaVong for better results.

And/or the music's too loud, but yes mostly from disrespecting the SECOND click. lol.

So I'm curious as to what's going on with the Dynavap website....... A month or so ago I lost all of my past data (orders, etc.) This week I ordered their IH but shipping standards have changed I guess. Past shipments have always been sent by US Post at like $13.00 (I live in Cananda), never had...

Re : Overheating the cap - I do as somebody here suggested a while back and do a real hot (4 - 5 secs over the click, cigar puff, don't inhale.) burn with it EMPTY to clean out the CCD sometimes when it gets tight to the draw, usually when I'm out and about and on the go with no ill effects so...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Here's a happy story for you all. I broke the red O-rings on my WA bowl (yeah both, trying to remove them with my thumbnail) a week or 2 ago. I e-mailed Lotus and they said "Send us a self addressed envelope and we'll send you a set", that sounded good UNTIL I was informed by Canada Post that I...

Not that I've ever experienced or recall hearing about.

    Dynavap VapCap

Amen to that ! All the way back does seem to be the default when you buy em' fresh. That works for me being a fairly high tolerance user, usually 2 bowls back to back or a hit or 2 of concentrate after 1 bowl. Seems these days I'm only interested in "vape on demand" devices while my older oven...

    Dynavap VapCap

So I just tried this in the name of science, lol. Turned the IQ to max (221 C) until hot, inserted the vapcap (2019 M), waited about 3 minutes..... no click, BUT I could hit it while it was still inserted into the IQ and get some reasonably good (visible) hits, a lot of them actually (8 or 9)...

I upgraded my "m" with the xl condenser tube and a wooden mouthpiece, because I have big hands it definitely helps to do a nice even spin with it being the bit longer and I prefer the feeling of wood on my lips rather than metal. So yes I say a worthwhile upgrade for me.

So it's not just me. I ordered as a "guest" but would have liked them to have known that I was actually a faithful returning customer !

Did I read somewhere that DV recently did something (updated ?) their website ? Today I tried to place an order but the site wouldn't recognize my password, was that just me or was it part of the new update I wonder. Placed my order as a "guest" this time so all good just curious if this...
