I think pull speed was my big issue. I cooled it down too much before it could heat the lower half of the bowl. I'll keep experimenting and trying to find the sweet spot.

My dog arrived today. Only $26 in customs fees which I was pretty happy about. It looks great and is working well. So far I'm really happy with it. Still experimenting with different temperatures, stems, etc. but so far so good!
