will round cubic zirconia gems, like 6mm, work a cooling heat absorber in glass vape stems or a heat accumulators balls in ball vapes?

I am not sure how much of a real life concern alcohol and silicone gaskets are. Venty gaskets are cheap and plentiful so I just dissemble the cooling unit and drop all of the pieces in my tank overnight. So far, since March, I have not noticed any degradation in the four o-rings. That is with...

will round cubic zirconia gems, like 6mm, work a cooling heat absorber in glass vape stems or a heat accumulators balls in ball vapes?

When I cleaned the stem yesterday I just dropped the whole thing, caps, balls, and all, into my ETH tank. I let it sit bit less than 10 min, sloshed it around a couple of times, took it out, rinsed it well, blew out the water and, uh, got high. That is as low maintenance as the Solo stems, so...

    Angus Enhanced

I tried this today with a two day old stem, san the hot water. A rinse, a few puffs of air and it was good to go.

    Is element vape legit?

Put it in the WPA and use the Solo upside down in a water piece or J-hook. For that little material I think that gravity is going to be your friend.

will round cubic zirconia gems, like 6mm, work a cooling heat absorber in glass vape stems or a heat accumulators balls in ball vapes?

My concern was water dripping into the oven. I tried what you said tonight after giving the stem a good blow to ensure there was not any excessive moisture. I am a convert, thank you!

    Battery question

Yeah, I got mine from SV. Great service and prices. I am impressed that they can undercut Amazon AND provide a top quality battery to boot! Edit: Ah ha! Molicel are made in Canada (and Taiwan of course). That probably explains why they are so expensive locally.

    Venty by Storz & Bickel

I have both. The Venty has been problem free for me (if you ignore the logo fading). I'd still get the Solo 3. It is really, really nice and tasty and so easy to clean. I also have the Angus Enhanced and the Venty gets less and less use.

    Battery question

Batteries are crazy expensive in Canada. Even no-name batteries on Amazon are $30 a pair! I wonder why.

will round cubic zirconia gems, like 6mm, work a cooling heat absorber in glass vape stems or a heat accumulators balls in ball vapes?

Can you expand on why you prefer rubies to the rest? I am pretty new to this whole ball thing.

I put my CZ in a tea strainer and dropped it in one of my alcohol bins. I rinsed them off (still in the strainer) about 10 min later and they were as good as new. That is with two days used (6-8 loads). If you leave it go for longer, it may take longer. I've gotten in the habit of dropping...

will round cubic zirconia gems, like 6mm, work a cooling heat absorber in glass vape stems or a heat accumulators balls in ball vapes?

I have no problem with glass, I have two tanks filled with ETH for that. Yesterday, pushed the balls out into one of those round, two-part tea strainers. It worked well, other that getting the balls out of the cold stem. Today I am trying soaking the entire stem, o-rings and all, to see if I...

will round cubic zirconia gems, like 6mm, work a cooling heat absorber in glass vape stems or a heat accumulators balls in ball vapes?

I've been using ~100 3mm CZ balls in the long AE stem. On stock levels 1-3, the vapour is room temperature. It gets slightly warm at 4 and quite warm at 5. I don't care for the heat at level 5 regardless so I am very pleased with the cooling effect. I just ordered more balls. The lower...

Based on material colour alone, mine seems to run a bit hotter than the Venty at the same displayed temperature. I have no idea if that is a valid comparison or if oven differences are the driver of this. I usually take both vapes up to 410F as I am senselessly greedy. The Solo will go...

While I generally agree with the "too many needless smart features sentiment", I think that depends on what is planned. I usually have 15-20 strains on the go and I often make blends. Other than some meh tasting weed, different temp steps can bring out the best is a strain. If the software...

    Venty by Storz & Bickel

You are not alone but that does not mean there are many others. S&B is not sharing any details and the internet is notoriously populated with unhappy customers while the happy ones stay quiet. All vapes break/malfunction, some more than others. I have not seen many reports in the last few...

    Arizer Solo 3

@PrematureEvaporation that is what I thought at first. Arizer also suggested that as a possible cause. I've tried every which way of pressing and straight down fails too. Something shifting about in the switch seems the most likely. Second is the software detecting the double click. It...

    Arizer Solo 3

No, that was not the problem. The problem occureed when double clicking the left and right buttons to increase or reduce the temperature. And before someone asks, reducing the temperature before the unit reached the set temperature. For my usage patterns, I wish the unit reverted to the...

"software and data integration" as a former software engineer, I find this aspect very interesting. I know that it is still early days for this, but are you able to share any big picture commentary on direction and goals?

    Arizer Solo 3

They sent it back after testing saying that they could not reproduce the problem. Perhaps something shifted in shipping? I have not tried it again yet. They did include three free glass pieces which was nice. It is still quite usable so I am not too fussed by this.
