In Power mode set at 38 watts; I load up a basket, usually preheat for five seconds before I start drawing the first time. After that, just press and draw slowly.

Start out in Power/Watt mode around 25-30, move the power up or down and figure out what you like before getting too far into the weeds with upgrading the firmware. With the OG Stempod, you can use TC out of the box, but I'd still recommend sticking with watts. It's just easier.
