I don't know if it was a factory reset, or what exactly "error 004" is, it just unlocked the error 004 screen , and worked after that. or so I think it did, we need to replicate this to be sure it was not just luck. I think you can see the error codes when the crafty is connected to a phone...

don't forget import tax...... that can bite you in the rear real bad.....! even if the item is cheap. happened to me many times.

get a wear and tear pack, they include a cooling unit. (or just get a couple spare cooling units) if one requires cleaning just use the others until you can clean the dirty one.

afaik S&B knows ,and someone even got a mail that they fixed the issue. that was a week ago. if you want to talk "numbers" just go to other threads, count the pages and posts about bad units...... this will give you an idea I think.

mine too. I also saw a "err 004" just for a second while hitting on 2 bars..... now I charge always @3 bars left. that's about one session too soon....but no hiccups since....! :)

a simple permanent solution would be a spare cooling unit with the inner cooling -baffles/-walls cut or grinded down.

question: do you use your filling tool when the chamber is hot? does it melt /bend from the heat??

I'd say it's more like the solo, it's still cooking a bit, but if I want to leave the rest of the bowl for later, I just do another hit or two with the unit off. this way the chamber has cooled off enough to not cook the bowl anymore. in between hits the loss is minimal.

what are you saying, the temps are not correct?? crafty displays too low or/and volcano too much?? :hmm:
