I also like the standart stem with the plastic top, but each to his own:). I agree, it can be hot when you soak much longer, i rotate it a bit sometimes to get bit better airflow also. Edit: @CarolKing i think i will buy a longer stem in the future for testing, i vape on green and like it much:).
