Did you try screwing the whole head off, taking both screens out, emptying the balls and pushing the top hat from the inside out the bottom? If that doesn't work initially you could try heat and push it out with something? Without going to all that trouble you could try heat it and pull it out...

Been using the Chaos with a torch exclusively. Been using a chef's torch, not quite as large as the big shot. It's giving a really nice gold colour over time as opposed to the blue colour from the high heat. Takes about 35-40 seconds for first few hits, with reheats of about 5-7 seconds only...

If you have Zirc there is a lag time. You have to take two or three pulls to pull the heat from the balls through the herb. If you just take one pull, not get much vapour then heat it for another while you will probably combust. Maybe try heat it the way you have been doing, then take two or...

Did you submerge the cap in ISO? I don't think that's meant to be done with the BFG devices but I could be wrong.

I recently made a purchase with the idea of doing a little experimentation... I ordered some spare Zirc balls and when I was ordering I couldn't help myself from picking up 100 2.38mm SiC balls. If anyone has any specific ideas or things they want me to assess let me know!
