I'm not very electrically inclined, would you be able to explain how to go about doing this? I'm guessing we are going to have to send them back? Should I be packaging it up and preparing to do so? I just recall them not having a warranty other than DOA/24 hours so I was a little worried...

Don't want to bug you boss, but just wondering if I can get an answer in regards to testing the dead KISS cart with a DMM to see if it's dead or if it's a loose connection? I'm not very electrically inclined. The working one really does have me amazed though, really lucky I ordered two!

@Sleepin in CA Does your dead KISS cart make any sort of jingle/loose connection sound when its moved around? Mine sounds like it possibly has a loose connection.

Ah I have a 5omh one here as well that i oxidized last night with a very quick press of the button. By quick, I mean very quick... It seriously almost glows instantly when you press the button. I was a little shocked! I should probably give the 5ohm a shot with some shatter to make sure it works...

Mine didn't even get to the first rip :( RIP Is yours a black one from latest batch? Mine felt warm but didn't glow and second time I tried it didn't even feel warm.

I was talking about the metal wrapped around the ceramic, which from your reply, is nichrome. Should I clean or dry fire the KISS carts before first use to get rid of any residual stuff left behind?

I have been storing it on it's side with the mouth piece resting on a foam packing peanut as someone else suggested. When not in use, the foam packing peanut makes the mouthpiece sit slightly elevated as you have described.

Thanks for the feedback guys and point taken, however loading via the bottom just seems a little silly to me considering that's where the air holes are. Shatter takes longer/more heat to get going and vape and I'm just learning to use the SR71. With my luck I'm betting I'll do something wrong...

Yeah, I'm going to head out now and get some new scissors. Wish me luck because I'm seriously fucked if I screw this last one up. Wish we didn't have to mod the coils considering the price/availability of them :(
