Haha... No I turn the unit upside down, place a small screen (from a flowermate 5) on the herb and use the glass stem straight in the bowl. Works great!

I'm still using mine in upside down mode! The heater is really efficient and quick and I get big clouds. Interesting to see that The new Flowermate5 Pro seems to combine the best aspects of both the 5 and the 8, styled like the 5 but with the controls from the 8.
