Being a fairly new EVO owner and seeing that video, I'm about to place my VC order... only question is, Triple or Quad torch lighter? Opinions?

Does anyone know if there will be a 4/20 sale or special? I've had my eye on these for a while and was going to just make the purchase now but if there's some sort of 4/20 special bundle or discount I can hold off for ~3 weeks...

How do you know it overshoots the temp? My IR laser thermometer gun should be here soon so I can verify temps at the various dial positions :)

Mine does a similar red & green dance before staying green. I wouldn't worry.

Has anyone measured the temperatures the EVO is putting out at various spots on the dial? What tools did you use? Did you measure inside the bamboo, the top, or some other method completely? My initial thought was to use one of those laser thermometer guns so I can measure inside the bamboo...

Can everyone post links to their favorite HydraTubes so others (:cough: me) can maybe purchase a few?

I'd let them know I researched it and found it to be an earlier version with an older algorithm - offer them 375 for the EVO + HT and see what they say.

Yup, paid $20 during the Valentine's Day sale.

Mine is fairly new as well and exhibits similar behavior. Also when the temperature dial "clicks" into the 12 o'clock position, it's slightly misaligned to the right so I have to consciously compensate for that if I'm aiming for a specific "time"/temperature.
