I was able to get my herb dark brown and black the first few months I've had my dog. I'm using the 14mm gong and the direct draw. I was taking some really slow hits through a straight shot and was able to get the herb brown though it is still light. I still can't hold the top around the heater...

How dark are you guys able to take your herb? I can't get the higher temp body high, I will usually stop getting vapor when it is gold, maybe even green flecks on it.

UD stems don't really fit on the hammer. Well they do, but you have to force it in there pushing the silicone back and the fit is not straight for me. Thick direct draw stems do not fit.

Is the underdog supposed to come with silicone on the heat exchanger? Or do you just put the stems loosely in there?

Does your hammer work on the lowest setting when the butane is only half full? (Which is after one and half bowls for me). If I turn the notches any higher the flame will blow itself out. Also anyone recommend a screen-less over a screened stem? The price point is kinda steep for me

I feel the hammer works best with less. That way there's no need for stirring too. I used to fill it like 50-75%, but now I barely cover the screen at like 10-20%.
