    Arizer Solo

I thought so because I thought it was convection. The kind folks on this forum reminded me that it really doesn't matter how something is "cooked." Cooked is cooked. End of story. I'm still using my Air 2 (and Air 1) with no reduction in lung capacity over seven years of daily use for high blood...

    The Arizer Air

They're happy in a Goldilocks spot, but I'm storing them with too much charge. The 2/3 rule is very helpful; I'm thinking about 60%-65% charged? (I am decidedly not a mathematical genius.) So When I use the AA2 later it should be done to about that level. Then I'll get battery that was on my...

    The Arizer Air

Well, OF, that actually makes sense. I did buy my charger from Arizer even though it likely cost more. But if something goes wrong, Arizer can’t blame it on my charger since it’s the one they sold me. I usually leave one of my two batteries uncharged for a while (a month or so), recharging my...

    The Arizer Air

In another matter, I have been pondering whether it makes any difference to use a battery that's been charged in the unit (plugged into the wall) or if it's better to get out a "charger-charged" battery instead.

Well, my brain never did well in math. Maybe that's the part of the brain that is still a child and will believe whatever I hear... Nah, I'm a skeptic! Even a worse problem. (Incredibly, I'm an ex-teacher, too. Obviously, I did not teach math!) Yes, I plan to invite my PAX 2 to my next party...

Any serious beer drinkers in forum?

Oh, yeah. That a serious brew! Austin has several good brands and several meh brands that they put in the restaurants. Houston is in the game, too. But when I found one of their beers in the convenience store, I had to wonder if it was any good. It was an IPA, and it was just so-so. And in a can!

THanks, OF. You are a good teacher. The analogy about how one cooks one's food resulting in cooked food was an AHA moment for this slow learner. It IS interesting that we are willing to suck hot air into our lungs just because there's THC at the end of the effort speaks to all of us stoners...

It wasn't easy! I was so embarrassed to realize that no one else had posted questions about the rules. Apparently, I'm the only criminal on the board. :D Thanks for letting me know about the six-hour rule. I'll be more careful.

Any serious beer drinkers in forum?

That was my dad's beer of choice. He actually printed their labels until he moved his business to Dallas in 1966. Now, at 93, he's converted to Fireman's Four. Lone Star is not the same beer it used to be. Even the original version was full of rice and corn. But since we knew no better then, it...

I am constantly getting trouble with back-to-back posts. The last time I got thwacked, I simply wanted to edit my post, but about four hours or so had passed before I re-read the post. I could not find an "edit" option, so I just added a sentence to my original post. It was not technically a...

Any serious beer drinkers in forum?

Should you find yoursenlf in South Texas, I highly recommend any product made by Real Ale Brewery in Blanco, Texas. Their IPA is outstanding, but for a daily brew I have really fallen in love with Fireman's 4, named for the fire station across the street from the brewery. It is a blonde ale, but...

    The Arizer Air

Thank you for the science lesson, OF. Obviously, I was a victim of false information. I thought convection just meant that no heat was *directly* applied to the herb. Now I see that I was wrong. At 72, I am trying to minimize the amount of "ick" that goes into my lungs, and that's what I thought...

 She’s already found it and is definitely not interested. Mercifully, I have no edibles. She would definitely be into that. Spaniels will eat ANYTHING. She did reject a cicada, but the next day ate a grasshopper.

    The Arizer Air

I guess they are allowed to be quirky. My Air 1 is stuck with the beep on; that's not the way I'd like it, but for whatever reason it prefers to talk to me. I have an oddball lime battery, too. I just let it be and will get a new one when Arizer has a sale. It may just be that it's running out...

    The Arizer Air

I have both the one and the two. I sort of switch them thinking that will make them both last longer? Probably not necessary, but I like them both. I gotta say, though, that the battery life and the ability to adjust the temperature so precisely with the two gives it the edge. I haven't seen the...
