What Do You Call It When (You Insert The Wrong [Hot!] End Of A Dynavap)?

Some serious sizzle!!! LOL And not once. And not twice. But twice in one day. Oh brother 🤪 Surely there is a name for this mishap? Tell me I'm not the only one! Oh dear. Oh dear. Go easy on old Bill, he's having a tough go at the moment. And now my Dynavap license may be revoked. What am I...

    Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Hoping for a little advice. I'm planning to purchase a Phase 3 ZX. Yesterday--for the first time ever--I destroyed a well-loved bong. Knocked it right of my desk, and it is done. So I need a new unit. As I mentioned in the Phase 3 thread (excuse any repetition) I'd like to pick up a modular...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I was just looking at those and a somewhat similar (smaller) FC-UFO (PG5034) that's also from SamL. These seem (to me) nice they be good pairings, but what do I know? LOL Bill ETA: I do wish these SamL (and other brand) bongs were better about providing the dimensions of their glass pieces...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I am so close to having a backup bong, but I missed it by that much: That is to say, there is a Toker II bong in transit to me as we speak. I purchased my original Toker II my freshman year in college and I always felt a pride in ownership. Used it forever. Perfect for combusting...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Thanks. At first glance that bong didn't strike me as "untippable," but I was wrong. LOL I'm still thinking (and perhaps I'm wrong?) that I might do better with a base that allows for using a whip hose (and ideally one that could convert into using a mouthpiece. I can't believe I broke my...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I appreciate the condolences. I will be soon be living amidst a bunch of oldsters, so I'd like to find a platform that is super-stable and minimizes any risk of burns and accidents as much as possible, while creating a great "ritual" experience with a base that plays well with the ZX...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Oh dear. Not to derail, but as I was working on my order (and reading though back threads) yesterday, I clumsily knocked my water-pipe off my desk and it did not survive. Oh dear. I'm wondering if Ryan or others have a stable base that that they think makes for an especially nice (and...

Is there a better, easier, safer way of cleaning glass? I don't think so.

I will say is that with the Sous Vide method all the gunk comes off, so no extra cleaning efforts are needed, and that's with 93% Iso. And I am able to successfully reuse Iso. Makes it economical. The PBW sounds interesting. I'll check my local brew shop. Bill

This is an option I'm willing to explore. Thanks! Bill

@invertedisdead @all I saw traditional hash mentioned some pages back, and I will share how my circle often consumed hash (particularly Lebanese, Afghani, and Moroccan varieties), as I think it might be food for thought. Or not. LOL We would take a straight pin and push it trough a bit of...

    Dynavap VapCap

I've continued to run "quality control checks" on the M7XL, just to make sure this device is "gift worthy." It is. I think my buddy will be stoked, and if he doesn't vibe with it (fat chance, methinks) I'll happily take it back. LOL As I've been loathe to stain the tip with a torch I've only...

Is there a better, easier, safer way of cleaning glass? I don't think so.

Taking in oils (or whatever) from vaping herb is inherent to consuming (barring whatever mitigation efforts one can take in the process), where adding citric acid and cranberry extract to bong water is controllable. Yes? I don't assume that vaping is without any risk (but better than...

Is there a better, easier, safer way of cleaning glass? I don't think so.

I believe that "aerosolized" is the correct term in this case. Drawing on a bong causes liquid to go into the air as suspension due to the bubbling action and those particulates are then inhaled. It isn't a matter of (passive) evaporate, but rather the action of gurgling actively aerosolizing...

@invertedisdead Thanks for the responses Ryan, everything sounds awesome. Like just what I was hoping for in my mind's eye. Your projected ETA for shipping units falls just into the window I have for my move. If I order a bundle now, would it be a problem if we settled on the shipping address...

    Venty or Tinymight 2

Thank you for taking the time for this write up. This has muddied the waters of my mind a little as hotness and harshness are not qualities I desire, where flavor and nice vapor are. I wish I had an opportunity to try one. Having a good cooling stem or adapter seems like it might key for my...

Try it. I think you will like it. I'm finding that vape is producing far less crud than combusting (no duh!) and that I can reclaim the Iso for reuse a few time and the glass still comes out sparkling clean. I'd appreciate feedback if you decide to give the Sous Vide method a go. Bill

Totally with you on the importance of ritual and aesthetics as part of the equation. Ryan has done beautiful work with these. How are you keeping the hot end? Is there a stand with the kit (not seeing one) or are there favorite stand options. I'd prefer not burning down my new place. LOL...

Is there a better, easier, safer way of cleaning glass? I don't think so.

I believe that when one vapes through water that the bubbling action effectively aerosolizes some of the water in the bong and puts some (small) amount of water vapor into one's lungs. Am I incorrect in this impression? I would also assume that any other fluid, pink water included, would be the...

    Venty or Tinymight 2

Thanks. I am definitely a "flavor chaser" so the all the positive reviews of the TM2 have provoked an interest. "Harshness" seems at odds with great flavor and not having tried one myself I appreciate the input of experienced users. After looking into them, the Venty isn't on my radar as an...
