I agree. I want to add that the ZXL, also 18mm, is really excellent. The ZX is perfect for my use but the ZXL is it's equal in flavor at least and great for when you want to bake a bigger load. I imagine the ZXXL will be similar.

I've upgraded my Peacemaker. I love my Douglass Fir model but it does have a flavor. I wanted a harder wood and the Purple Heart & Rosewood looks wonderful. It's been a pleasure to have the Peacemaker back on the desktop. The Douglasie will come out when I'm in the mood for a smokier flavor...
