I have not used any of my 4 piecers in a couple of years. At first collecting kief can be a novelty, but in the end, a grinder is for grinding herb.... and I found that the 2 piece units served my needs best.

The "hands free" SSV setup is not the same as the DBV. The DBV wand is wide open, as is it's HC While the SSV Ground Glass HC is wide open, the SSV Ground Glass wands neck is minorly restricted. This calls for a mildly different draw technique. Give it a couple of days and you will hardly...

The drawback to ground glass is..... you plug it in and take a hit... hands wherever you want them... dealing a deck of cards perhaps. The hit ends, and then when you are ready to stir your meds, you have to stop dealing the cards, and put them down, and pull the ground glass wand out of the HC...

My solution to the loose fitting stem, would be to use a small piece of shrink tubing. Here is a picture of some shrink tube I got from FV... and a few stems that I have placed pieces on. A small section at the tip heated with a lighter will be snug and tight. It also will solve the loose stem...
