For whatever it's worth, quite a few people in the Liger thread have sold their Sapphire Ligers and went back to torched quartz bangers. I've never hit sapphire myself so I can't comment, but I find it interesting none the less.

Yup! Smokers need harshness as a signal they are getting a good hit. The smoothness of vapor is actually unappealing to many smokers who are looking for a confirmation signal. The less dense clouds upon exhale further reinforce this idea in the smokers mind.

A large percentage of the cannabinoids are wasted when smoking, like others have said, once you switch to full time vapor you will notice how much less herb you really need per session.

I'm pretty sure Newvape could pretty easily mill some quartz inserts if the demand is there, which is why I'm gonna go with the Showerhead. The trick with inserts is designing a groove or something so they don't spin when Q-tipping. Seems to be an issue with the Liger inserts I have read about...
