You wouldn't really want to ingest unevaporated ISO, but ethanol works great for tinctures. Ethanol works better for dewaxing than ISO too, but they don't really sell it around here.

Are you using Isopropyl alcohol or grain alcohol?

Never done it but supposedly helps remove those AVB flavors. If they don't bother you, you could skip it, but I'm gonna try it next time I recycle some AVB.

You might want to look into a water curing the AVB before further processing it.

I think it's neat, but I think you're downplaying the value of a squish with a consistent temperature. I'd be interested to seeing how your 3.5g version performs; honestly I don't see the 1g version outperforming a hair straightener though.

I used a Volcano as my daily driver for many years and this blows it away. It's a much faster extractor, I can be done with my session before I could have even finished blowing up a bag. Plus this is a lot easier to clean than my solid valve.
