I swear I saw a cannabis documentary that claimed people were vaporizing thousands of years ago off of hot rocks. Wish I could find the information again. Pretty sure it was in a lecture from Carl Ruck.

This is why I ordered the Newvape/Vapecode PID. Figured the warranty offered by Newvape was worth the trade off in not using a D-Nail XLR.

Yeah sorry for going off topic, I realize you were only referencing the part in the study about the water pipe, I just thought it was pretty interesting that they reached the conclusion that tar was being produced in the vaporizers they tested.

Big fan of MAPS, but isn't this study misdiagnosed? The condensate material produced by the vaporizer is not tar, so the comparison to smoking methods seems skewed.

I used a Volcano for years as my daily driver, IMO that bag vapor is a bit harsh, but even more so if you let the bags sit around for a bit and get stale. Just saying, if I had lung problems I would probably want to vape at the lowest temperatures possible to minimize any adverse reactions.

Even though vapor is light and doesn't linger around long like combustion smoke, IMO handling raw bud stinks a room up more than vaporizing it. I would suggest Ozium or a medical air freshener, these are designed to chemically remove the smell instead of just mask it with other scents.
