you can use the iris with the core but im stuck i dont know why the herc wont work on the hammer top. Can you check all the voltages it cant work at? Also try to adjust the bottom adapter on the herc when using the hammer top, this could be causing the issues as the short protection in the top...

ya you can test it, it should read the ohms, if oyu know how to test the resistance then you could test it.
