I'd really suggest going by sound for clues. If the hiss of the gas sounds normal, it's most likely not fuel. If you get no hiss (gas flow) it's most likely contaminated fuel jamming the port. First step, does the gas sound right? The igniter is piezo electric. A little spring loaded hammer...
