Hey, don't drag us into this. You got it, you own it. We don't know you, or want to......... Seriously (for just a moment, hang tight, it'll pass......) glad you're 'hitting your stride' Solo is a great vape, but it need to fit with the owner. Sounds like you've made it yours. Enjoy your...

Funny you should say that. Turns out that's what was behind that long string of first dates I had early on..... Sorry for slipping off topic using an otherwise excellent post, but you don't really get many straight lines around here you know. Best wishes to all for the weekend, the weather...

I too am guilty of this, or nearly so. I vape a bit until it's dried out, then pull it out and crush it in my palm with my fingers and put it back. With care, you can do it when the glass is still hot, but due caution is advised. OF

For those having trouble with removing the ring (AKA hanging onto the tool) if you have a 510 thread vape pen handy, thread the tool on that. It makes a dandy handle. OF

You're welcome. "she supports all of the things I do" (and the other way about) is the only way it really works IMO. Since all things and people change over time, it's a given neither of you will likely be 'the one I married' to the other. She was changing before you met her, she's sure to...

You're welcome, of course. And thank you for your post, I'm sure it's not the last contribution you'll be making! Welcome to the Forum! Lots of good folks and useful information going on, but if you've been lurking for a while I guess you know that all ready....... OF

You're most welcome, thanks for the feedback, confirming the message got through. For sure putting pre conceptions and assumptions aside is a big plus, not always easy, but if you can...... If you're in the mood for a little more rant, let me bring up another topic. Don't look for that...

First off, it's obviously working if he's burning herb. What we don't know yet is if it's working correctly? And the OP just got it from the half price deal how many months ago? I can understand his not wanting to rush into another few month's delay and giving customs another shot at it...

Cool. I usually do it the other way about. I stash ground bud in Doob Tubes usually, so I zero the scale with the stash on and load up, then put the stash back on the scale for the answer. I use a .001g resolution scale so the reading is pretty precise. Another way to gain accuracy with more...

Excellent point, they are LSD, it could be one was just fully charged already for some reason? Good call. Thanks. OF

Depending on the charger, yes that happens. This sounds like an extreme case to me, though. If they behave differently charged differently, it's not battery..... The best chargers are ones that thread each battery as a separate unit. Allowing individual settings for each. Basically no link...

I'd keep that tidbit of insight away from the bride if I were you, lest you find out first hand how expensive divorce is in Fiji. Imagine it, your main rival is a handful of wood and metal from the other side of the world....... Enjoy this time, the memory has to last a lifetime. OF

I too grind about like that for more uniform results and convenience. But you can still get useful results with finer, coarser or no grind at all. Not grinding right is not the key to 'won't work' level problems? IMO it's a refinement of technique. Unlike some/most other vapes. And your...

"Aside from that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?" (Edit: I just realized our EU friends don't get the joke, President Lincoln was shot at a play, folklore has it a reporter asked her that question the next day (their assignment, to find out to add to the review of "Our American Cousin") as...

It can be a tough transition for sure. Blazing skills don't always transfer well. In blazing honking on it raises the fire so the vapor happens Most all vapes, OTOH make vapor on their own, sipping also transfers all the available into vapor (just at a lower rate). True convection is a...

By all means experiment and see what you like. Grind, while very important with some vapes, is not a big deal with Air/Solo. They do 'just fine' on a small bud (or a piece of one) jammed in. This is in large part because it's not a convection based vape, despite what some have to say on the...

    The Magic-Flight Box

Try it, IMO you won't like it. It's backwards that way, you want the load close to the plate and pressed up against the side walls (where the heat is.....). The parts of the stem you suggest are basically the ones you normally want to avoid. Keeping stuff off the oven floor is really not a...

But it does. Tobacco has to deal with the glycerine and other stuff added to keep it from going dry in the pack. It's too soggy to keep burning (as you find when rolling pipe tobacco...), so nitrates (like Saltpeter) are added to keep the fire going and dampen your ardor..... Besides which...
