Understood. That's where a single guy, using simple fixtures (perhaps as simple as a drill press and vice for small runs) lets one guy do the hard part quickly and accurately for us all. I suspect this is exactly how VM makes his parts. If I was doing it I'd go for the through hole first...

I'll second Solo/Air. IMO you need to have a solid backup vape, reverting to blazing is not an acceptable plan. Your backup should, IMO, be fun and useful in it's own right, Solo is. If you want 'fast, single hits' (like it sounds) I suggest VG (avoid the coil...) or a personal favorite...

    The Magic-Flight Box

It's a small outfit, I'd use any of the links, they're sure to route it to the right 'desk' quickly. That sounds as good as another. The idea is to make personal contact there and probably 'trade a few emails'. Good folks, they'll work with you. They too want (and value) happy customers. OF

I agree, more choices in the market is a good thing. How about a partially done 'DIY' version? Drill the wood blank for all the holes, then supply the pins, screws and screen an a bag. Then we'd be able to shape, sand and finish our own custom stems........ Anybody with sandpaper and time...

Kindly remember your current gratitude when you get my bill....... Thanks for the kind words. "If you can't inform 'em, at least entertain them...." UnshavenFish just gave you the straight poop on this. While they will 'hold the charge' just fine at full charge it will seriously reduce...

First off, very sorry you're having troubles. Hopefully it can be put right quickly/easily. First off, yes I think you should contact MF and explain. They can see what's going on by the tracking and I'm sure would move on a replacement before they have the package back in hand (which can take...

Yes, push the heat up. Don't be shy, you need to know how deep you can take the submarine....... I found the 3 holes to be an important part of the design (go figure, it wasn't a mistake???), but by all means try it (toothpick ends work great for this) and see? Not longer draws (which will...

    Arizer Solo

Amen, it can sure do that, can't it? IMO a superbly designed tool for making vapor. With solid design, long life, excellent service support and low cost. Tough combination to beat for sure. It's brother, Air, offers a slightly different set of compromises (less sessions per charge, easily...

    The Arizer Air

Howdy. Testing vapes is tough work if you can get it for sure. First, rest assured you're not combusting or you wouldn't be questioning it. Even if your unit is defective, which it sure doesn't sound like it is. Combustion is a 'run away' thing. Cross the line and it gets really different...

Truly unfortunate. My first thought is contact MF and get the replacement on it's way. Secondly you might look for one of the recommended alternatives, Pak or someone with that information will have to provide/confirm but I think these are one of the recommended types...

My mistake. I took your saying "As for reclaiming: just carefully apply a blue lighter flame to the glass from the outside and inhale!" to be an example of 'telling everyone what to do'. I hope you can see how that happened? By you're definition of efficient (pounds of THC delivered out the...

You're welcome. If your cap is defective, or not acceptable, get one that you're happy with? A high temperature vinyl one comes to mind? I don't share your fear of debris, but if you do, by all means do something to lessen that. I'm glad you see others might not agree with your recovery...

You, sir, are a true pioneer. And a boon to the rest of the community. The youth should draw near and grow wise, but I strongly suspect they're too busy texting...... And Facebooking, Tweeting and who knows what all. Thanks for keeping us involved. Please let us know how it ends up. OF

I'm glad you're enjoying your Air, it seems a very common (and IMO natural) thing. Great vape, based on an already proven solid design. To your issues, if the cap bothers you either remove it and not worry (which I suspect most of us do judging by the posted photos?) or if you want something...

I think we're looking at 'control' from different ends. To me control means consistent results I can fine tune to what I want. With VM that's a natural rhythm as you say. 'Adjusting on the fly' is fine and all but I prefer this way. I think it's darn near impossible to combust in VM (the way...

You forgot 'easier to control' since you heat then hit. Lets you concentrate on each separately. Lotus, I found, makes you juggle things during the hit. IMO a big plus. Play with fire a bit, sit back and sip and enjoy the vape. Then play with fire...... That I can handle. OF

Yes, yes, and no. Yes, it comes with a charger that you can use to charge while you're using it. The Power Adapter is for the prior version, not really useful with the current ones. OF

Actually the Heating Station is $250. $310 is the package deal with basic Pear VM, lighter, and 3 screens. A considerable deal IMO, although I don't know if the package deal will be extended to the production runs. Plan on $250, not $310: http://www.vapman.com/en/news/?nid=7 OF
