Vapor residual harder to clean off glass??

Beats me guys, it's been so long since I've combusted and then it wasn't in glass often enough to worry about. For sure the residue of combustion is entirely different from condensate in your vape. The first is a collection of junk in random lumps the other a film (potentially) laid down layer...

Using wax with a wick vape pen?

You want Omicron carts. They are built with two heaters, one to make vapor, the other to melt the goods to feed the wicks. They come in several power levels (start with 2.4 Ohms, the 'coolest' and work up as you gain skills), and take a bit of learning. But they are the best (you might say...

Hard to say for sure from here, but I'm with you. High temperature would be my concern (WRT to failure), any exposed surface is sure to get sealed up by condensate on the first few hits and it's in an area that will never get completely cleaned? Being as there's lots of metal to conduct the...

I agree with you, I still think it's furnace cement. That's the typical material used for such things and while I didn't strip mine down that far, furnace cement is what I found on the outside of mine where the leads come out. OF

Yep, you broke the code. The Sargent at Arms will send you the details of the secret hand sign by PM.....after you swear the loyalty oath, of course. Next chance for that is the June 2 full moon, plenty of time. Keep your eye on PM. Congrats. In a rare serious vein I wouldn't sweat the...

    The Magic-Flight Box

Some use 'baking soda' for this. Mix up a bit of paste with water. This is the stuff that does the scrubbing in traditional tooth pastes......back before the fancy stuff got added. Some still use it alone. It, of course, will rinse clean. Otherwise I agree fully, I don't think my box needs...

Yes, it has. When I said "up until today's recall....." I meant it had been recalled that day......yesterday. OF

    Discontinued Tripperflask Portable Vaporizer

Gentle Friends, After a shipping mishap which ISWEED sorted out in short order I got my unit today. I finally got a chance to play with it.....and break it. BE ADVISED THE TOP CAP IS "REVERSE" (LEFT HAND) THREADS!!! The manual forgets to impart that detail, in fact the diagram for step one...

Yep, I did mean VM......SDMG does that to me sometimes, it's really his fault you know. While I use VGs sometimes (the big Bronze and hand carved being favorites in that order) the Vapman sees much more use for sure. More so since the concentrate screens, more still with the Heating Station...

I think that same sort of thing probably happened, although there is no solid state relay being DC. The same thing can happen, current flow when not demanded if the pass element (most likely a Field Effect Transistor) fails. Sound engineering should prevent that aside from component failure...

Maybe I think a guy should have (at least) two? There are two styles, exotic woods, one reserved for concentrates, laser engraving...... OF

"Guide". At the very least it's MISTER enabler to you...... Your call, but IMO that's an awful lot like Air, and serious bucks. I think your backup should be fun to use in it's own right and need not be too much money. For instance, MFLB, VG or a personal favorite VG are all great vapes IMO...

I use them from time to time, largely for a 'change of pace'. I obviously enjoy it enough to do it again. It's not for everyone, for sure. Kind of a 'neither fish nor foul' thing to me. Different from 'barefoot', but not at the same level as 'a real bubbler'. Some are more sold on them than...

Congrats, good times ahead. Welcome to the Forum. You're good to go out of the box. The battery will be partially charged (hopefully), not full, so 'overcharge' it one time only before first use for optimum battery performance. Just let it sit on the charger an 'extra' four hours or so...

Interesting (and pretty spooky). While some very soft alloys will melt at lower temperatures, most are over 600C by a fair bit. 3 times the normal temperature. That means, in broad terms, nine time the heat (in calories)??? I'm amazed it can get there on 50 Watts. I agree, it sounds like a...

I only did it a few times, but IMO it worked just fine. No complaints. I think there's a 18mm version (?), perhaps I'm thinking of F-Bomb, that would not work, it's a 14mm size connection. OF

Thanks for the clarification. I guess we differ, if I give advice based on what I'm doing but know there's potentially a better option out there I include that. For the record, I've tried both. While OC is useful, PBW is much more so. Which is why, I think, there's a tread on it that's...

That's only because you've never used Powdered Brewery Wash. Basically Oxy-clean with surfactants. buffers (pH balance), cheating agents (so it works even in very hard water) and other improvements. A completed 'engineered detergent'. It was developed to remove just the sort of hydrocarbon...
