Within the context of this thread, I totally agree with you but outside the context of this thread, the problem arises when opinions are stated as fact, and that's where the "right/wrong" tag can apply, eh?
I think it's more of defending their purchasing decision rather than defending the company. When you question someone's purchasing decision, you are, in their minds, questioning their ability to make a wise decision, and that can lead to some pretty aggressive defensive measures, eh?
Anyway...
I didn't say "healthy" skepticism but I don't think one can be a skeptic without being viewed as negative to those who are not skeptics, but I still haven't seen anyone here rooting for anyone's failure.
I really haven't seen anyone in this thread "rooting" for anyone to fail.
What I have seen is skepticism but that's a far cry from rooting for someone to fail.
This is a link from my go-to walk in dispensary. Been a member there for over 6 years. Some of you may find this kinda interesting and useful:

And while you're there............this too...
After reading many of the posts in this thread, how can it be obvious when many don't see it as obvious at all? Maybe it's only obvious to some, eh, but not to others?
Gotta be careful with those blanket general statements.
I was just curious as to what happened. I'm usually in the mix as to what happens around here but this one totally escaped me. No desire to extend anyone's discomfort though.
Ya know what's kinda funny about that? On CNN's site, the World Cup has been the headline story all day today:
And this is the cover story on the Fox News site with no mention of the World Cup at all:
They just can't seem to get enough of this story. I'm beginning to think that...
