I will be happy to take care of your issues. The Battery adjustment tool does not work with the bottom cap, you need to take the bottom cap off then there is another plate that has two holes on it. that plate is designed to be adjusted up or down. The bottom cap can not be adjusted at all...

the SS kit comes with a 14500 AW Imr battery and tube you would need the bottom cap from your original Omicron v2.5 and the top. The rest should work.
