@Baron23 it probably has a lot of terpenes if it's that runny. Instead of putting the rosin in the freezer try using a cold pack from the freezer underneath the parchment, it should collect right up.

IMO conduction is superior for vaporizing concentrates. Waxes and oils don't have all that extra plant material to buffer the heat, so they vaporize more efficiently with conduction. Convection is great for flower though. You should definitely check out the Newvape VROD if you want something...

Right on @Baron23 nice to see more people getting their own solventless slot machines! IMO at that recorded temp around ~200F you might consider going for 3-4 minutes and compare yield. You might also try 220F at the plates (if the flower relatively fresh and higher in RH) for 2-3 minutes...

Cool, is that how you normally hit flower too, or do you prefer more of a one hit slammer when vaping dry herb? IMO it takes ~75-100 degrees higher than the SiC Halo on the VROD vs a flat coil for equivalent performance.

It seems like the power control is a good bit tighter on the mod, and can keep these tanks from getting too hot and steamrolling through the goodies. Especially since these oils are dewaxed and vaporize so efficiently compared to a waxy raw concentrate.

Some said the same about juicing but Max Gerson cured many cases of cancer with those bursted bubbles. There probably is some misunderstood underlying metaphysical implication that results as a consequence but that's half the fun of this alchemy :brow:

I just use the rosin press lately to easily remove that exogenous plant material. I think the ancient cultures understood this with their empirical wisdom and hashing traditions. I find rosin really just combines all of the classic hash making techniques into one - heat, pressure, and separation.

I believe it's caused by water filtering burnt sugar fumes and the combustion of other non vaporizables present in the dried flower. Also probably oxidized water soluble terpenes and chlorophyll degradation, and likely some microbial stuff going on too eventually as we all know how nasty a water...

IMO the SiC dish is a good bit smoother than the SH for dabbing, though I mostly hit my 25mm opaque quartz lately.

I notice it too, especially with my convection vapes . My dab rig takes a lot longer to build up any off flavors. And even when it does start tasting like reclaim, it never really gets as bad as one flower hit would make it.
