AHH Further inspection reveals that they each have a lip. The Original is polished glass on the inside. The double ground glass is a frosted texture outside (as we have) and on the inside also, for better adhesion to transfer wands.

The cap (lid) of my 05 does not click on securely, and will click on audibly, but will fall off at a touch. I lost the meds in my pocket each of 3 times I carried the 05 unit with me. Of course when I leave the house already using the unit in hand there is not an issue. The XP lid stays on...

I was using the 05 all the way for this last round of examination of capsules. While the 05 takes much longer to charge, it's consistency is good I use both units at same setting: "5.5", and then after a few teaser hits, I go to 6, and finally 6.5 or 7.

Sure! I use both. Keeping things clean and maintenance free goes smoother for me with the easy valve. Also I find the EZ valve can take more meds with less stickiness and need for cleanup (especially on the center "pole". I use a bag for a year average before I consider it time to renew.
