Chest pains since only vaporizing, anyone?

I'm familiar with absolutes and have made them when I had more access to vacuum equipment. Alcohol does not fully purge at room temperature when dissolving a solute though. Sorry I was stoned and said boil versus evaporate, I just got done boiling a few dabs. :D I like ethanol extracts a lot...

Flower vs Dabbing in relation to a healthier choice

That's the terp tickle! You can definitely feel when a concentrate has too many terpenes, that terp burn kind of reminds me of the hot throat I used to get from bong hits.

Flower vs Dabbing in relation to a healthier choice

Did you press the rosin yourself? If not, who produced it? Does it look, and smell like an extremely high quality extract? When you say it "hurts more" what specifically do you mean?

I squish drip tech with parchment paper, you can press with no paper if you want. I would be interested in seeing photos from your microscope experiment. I don't have a microscope so I have not examined anything like that. Honestly I would recommend a hair straightener over the Slug if you...

Chest pains since only vaporizing, anyone?

I don't recall members here coughing up vapor resin though. Only stuff caused by combustion. The only thing I get from vaporizing is mucus production, which could stem from a number of things. Do you believe the sticky tar that accumulates from combustion is better? The Volcano is the driest...

Chest pains since only vaporizing, anyone?

That's why I dab rosin (essentially a cleaner version of traditional hashish. Like a cross between Moroccan and Afghani.) All glass air path. None of that vaporized degraded plant material. Most cannabis using cultures across the world have been removing plant material from cannabis for...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

:sherlock::sherlock::sherlock: I'd be curious if this new cap design causes more heat retention from the added mass. If so it will probably collect more reclaim, just as the Showercap did versus my Vrod cap. I still feel like the Vrod/SH has the most airflow of any vape, Another vote for the...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I've been wanting to try that for a while, but clean, raw distillate in California is pretty difficult to come across. I have a theory that you could cut almost any type of extract with raw distillate, since it vapes so clean. I've been wanting to try a tank with some live bubble hash rosin cut...

Chest pains since only vaporizing, anyone?

If you can cure dry mouth by smoking all the power to you. But minus the back pain, those seem like pretty normal symptoms of inhaling hot air. That said, I'd be cautious inhaling anything foreign if you are having trouble breathing. How long have you vaporized EXCLUSIVELY without combusting...

What is the most healthiest vaporizer I can get as of October 2018?

Most Evo owners move up to the Flowerpot. It's a versatile powerhouse.

Are you sure you're not getting higher than you can handle and having a panic attack? I've vaped strains where I thought I was going to have a heart attack and die. My elders would call that a "bad trip. Low temper of a racey sativa can be a powerful thing. Combustion burns off almost all of the...

Chest pains since only vaporizing, anyone?

I gave you my advice, you went a different route. I know quite a lot of smokers, like you, who just don't like the strong THC high that comes with vaporization. But it's absolutely a fact that combustion hits deliver the least cannabinoids of any consumption method. You simply prefer a dirty...

Flower vs Dabbing in relation to a healthier choice

I would suggest solventless meds such as rosin or Co2 extracts. I press most of my rosin myself with my Dabpress, this allows me to know exactly what material the concentrate was made from. This is a chemical free extraction that makes great dabbables.

    Confused about combustion temperature

Depends on what you're vaping them from, 400-500F for extracts is pretty good. Could go lower but you might get more reclaim. As low as feels comfortable to you should be fine.

    Confused about combustion temperature

That's the coil temperature, not the surface temperature of the dish. The Flowerpot and other similar PID controlled devices all work this way. Yes, very different. Most types of concentrates do not have the plant material which is what is combusting at those temperatures.

    AVS Molecule RDA

My molecule is supposed to come tomorrow, I hate exposed coils but I might have to try it after @florduh good word. Not sure if any of the v1 quartz bowls will be in or not, my tracking says they weren't shipped, could be a place holder for the revised version maybe.

    AVS Molecule RDA

Nice! Still waiting on my molecule, tracking says Monday.... will surely need more live sauce by then :D Very excited to see the new cup and coil heater, despite this little hiccup in the quartz crucible, the speed to market from AVS is very impressive.

Loss of interest for water filtration...

All vapor is concentrated whether using flowers or extracts - extracts just have less plant material which makes the numbers test higher. It is possible for tolerance to raise because the ease of delivery is quite a bit smoother, but it's not that hard to keep tolerance in line either. I...

Loss of interest for water filtration...

Very full spectrum, it's a mechanical extraction not a chemical extraction. Basically you just melt the oils out and filter them through a bag. Very clean, smooth, tasty. I use a water piece, sometimes dry.
