@caporoot try this take the coil out, take off all the black pieces and then power the stainless section of the Herc. See if you can do this in a dark room to see if the rod is faintly glowing. Or open the mouth piece and power the Herc on, see if it's creating vapor.

@itschad the 18350 and 18650 are two different current rating. Meaning that the 18350 will stumble on a improper assembly because of its 6 amp limit while the 18650 can handle up to 10 amps.

i would also look into the Omicron SS kit for shorter profile if super pocket portability is needed.
