    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Funny thing happened. I enjoy my Pax, but have only used it about twice a week since I got it a long while back. (well over 2 years ago!) I loved using the Pax, but put it lower in my rotation, due to finicky operation of the mouthpiece (I had a spare also), and cleanup was needed quickly. I...

I believe that would be caused by repeated hits, with little stopping for air. using a close torch can force you to repeatedly breath in "used" air... air with oxygen depleted due to the flame eating it all up. If a "chain hitter", that would be like breathing from an ill-adjusted tank in a...

The image is of a hand held SSV wand, but concept is the same. I like to layer the kief on top. The kief melts down and into the herb. First couple of stirs I just stir the ever flattening kief layer... then I continue to vape and stir the whole mix together as I continue the prolonged kief...

I am careful when using it to hold the flam over the pipe.... no angles.. and draw the flam straigh downward, trying to inhale only heat downwards. I am certain that repeated use like this will add soot to the ceramic.

I have enjoyed successful VG use with a Hempwick, when it was braided. I still do not care for using it, however. I just braided on up and did a hit for you.

if you turn heat up a great deal, and leave the "ball" stopper on you can do it.... slow inhalation is best for this situation. I dont bother. I change HC.

I remove the O-Ring (black Teflon) and I dip it in Iso... scrape with fingernail, scrub... rinse in water.. and wipe dry, before I begin the Iso Bath. (example at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/herb-grinders.15/page-121#post-243969)

That seems to be the general consensus, from 136 pages of posts. There are only a couple that speak of contentment with hempwick use.

I have used both systems, and like the EZ valve more. I modify EZ valves with a larger bag. If you refer to the previous images, those are all a re-build of an EZ Valve bag/mouthpiece assembly, utilizing new OEM Volcano Bag material (on a roll... made for use with Solid Valve) The large bags I...

Yes over time the element can function less efficiently. This is not always the case, however, some seem to go on and on.
