I like the fact everything can easily be replaced by the user as well. Hopefully you are right about the warranty. I think I will be placing an order for one at the beginning of the month. Running on empty after holiday shopping.

Sounds like the core and batteries will need to be replaced periodically depending on the frequency of use. Still very interested.

@damien420 I got the solo in early November and no, I can't be sure it's not normal. I could have learned to live with the noise I think but the burnt smell was very noticeable.

@Vaped Ape I really do hope I get a good unit. The few times I did try the solo the clouds were very substantial. About the same size clouds as my WISPR. I could not get past the burnt electronics smell though. I would have probably dealt with the noise and just tried to get used to it but...

I love my WISPR. I have found the last few hits at the end of the bowl can have a neutral taste when compared to the first 10 - 15 hits. Definitely nothing that would alarm me or stop me from finishing the bowl. I would recommend the WISPR to anyone looking for a good portable.
