I have used both methods. I prefer using just one stainless steel screen with about a half packed oven. Two if I am barely covering the bottom pax screen

I am assuming that you are only using the low setting graffix?

Fantastic post graffix. One of the best in this entire thread. I personally have had extreme success using just enough herb to barely cover the bottom of my screen and then using one to two stainless steel screens ontop of my herb to get sufficiently medicated. The draws are not as quality as...

As far as storing the pax in a cold area for a few hours. Will that drain battery? I'm not even finished with my first oven of the day. About 10 min of use. Yellow battery life... It's been in the car most of the day with a high of 25 degrees

I always go from low-->med--->high for flavor purposes on a full oven. I can make a full oven last 25 hits where if I did the whole thing on high it would probably be around 10. As far as preserving herb I would say yes, using med vs high will make your oven last longer while providing the...

Thanks for the reply. What about overnight charging and leaving it green for over 6 hours. I have been drawing as I notice the smell during heat up as well because I feel like vaporization happens before 370 on low. Also, Im not sold that the pax is getting to exactly 370. I know that terpenes...

Would it make sense to hit the pax while it's warming up in order to savor all of the flavor?

So far so good with my pax! I have been cleaning it every 2 days or so. I use roughly 4 ovens a day for 2 weeks and have completely eliminated combustion. I am a little worried that I am gonna kill the battery with this heavy use

Not sure if this has been posted but when you are in the second party mode, if you shake it almost like checking battery level, it will go through a couple stages of strobe light settings.

That's good to hear. Were you paxing on low? Another big reason I bought my pax was to bring it skiing. What are peoples experience with that? It seems like it would be a pain to need to stir the bowl while on the slopes. Do people keep a hand warmer near it to prevent from freezing?

So who has success stories about using their pax in public? It does seem a little too smelly to just bust out at a movie or sporting event
